Pia Bouman and Harmony Jagla and Effie MacMurchy, young dance students from the Pia Bouman School for Ballet and Creative Movement, a Parkdale-based not-for-profit organization, talk about the school’s 26th annual performance of Nutcracker. Shows Dec 15-18 at Lismer Hall, Humberside Collegiate Institute, 280 Quebec Avenue. This full-length production is the longest running performance of this classic holiday ballet danced by young people aged 7 to 16 in Toronto. www.piaboumanschool.org
 
Dance Artist Eryn Dace Trudell is originally from Toronto and now lives in Montreal. She is certified in Skinner Releasing Technique, holds a BFA in Dance from Juilliard and teaches Contact Improvisation. Juilliard (’91) and is the founder of Mama Dances with the primary focus of bringing mothers (parents.guardians) and their babies together in dance.Also talks about her Series 808 ATC Technique Workshop Deepening December 7-10 at Dovercourt House, 805 Dovercourt Road, 3rd Floor Penthouse (Dec 7-9 and 1st Floor (Dec 10).
