Yana Maizel, Choreographer and Dancer, on the North American Premiere of My Name Is Not Carmen showing November 8 and 9, 2012, 8pm, at Jane Mallett Theatre, St. Lawrence Centre For The Arts, 27 Front Street East, Toronto. Maizel has studied at Ecole internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq. This production is a fusion of theatre, dance, poetry and music that tells the story of her journey from Russia (Maizel was born in St. Petersburg) to Canada, to Spain and ultimately France.
