Choreographer Colleen Snell and her sister Costume and Visual Designer Noelle Hamlyn. Co-Artistic Directors of frog in hand, a group of multidisciplinary performers, textile and visual artists, who come together to perform in unusual spaces. Snell trained, toured and performed with the Canadian Contemporary Dance Theatre (CCDT) in Toronto and at Ladmmi in Montreal. In England Colleen completed a Master's in Contemporary Dance with distinction at the London Contemporary Dance School. Will be performing Wall at the reception for F'DUP, an arts exhibit running  September 26-November 9 2013 at the Art Gallery of Mississauga. Reception is Thursday September 26 at 6pm, with a free bus from The Gladstone Hotel, 1214 Queen Street West at 6pm.Wall is a site-specific performance installation involving contemporary dancers and thousands of metres of thread. What is "f'd up" is that the artist who works with thread, string, yarn, if fabric is often equated with a gender-based derogatory view of women's work. Dancer Kate Holden, Co-Artistic Director with Kate Franklin of firstthingsfirstproductions (ftfp) on with a trace, a mixed program of two solos and a duet by Peggy Baker, Valerie Callam and Melanie Demers, performed by Kate Holden and Kate Franklin.  Explores the nature of experience and relationships and how we define ourselves through interactions with others. Dancer Joannie Audet talks about the Kemi Contemporary Dance Projects presentation of Stages, two works by by Co-Artistic Director Jennifer Dallas and Tedd Robinson. The seeds for the Dallas piece emerged from her studies of women's place in social structures doing her residency in Ouragadougou, Brukina Faso and Jerusalem, Israel.
