Bageshree Vaze, Indo-Canadian classical dancer and musician, Director of Pratbha Arts, which produces high quality programming of music and dance influenced by India and reflective of the Indo-Canadian experience. Joins forces with Besharam to honour the power and resilience of female youth in Balika, an event taking place August 18 2013, 8pm, at Lulu Lounge, 1585 Dundas Street West. Proceeds go to promote girls' rights and help end gender inequality through Plan Canada's Because I am a Girl initiative.
