Hosts: Andrya Duff and Roshanak Jaberi

Vivine Scarlett, Artistic Director of Dance Immersion talks about their 24th Annual International Association of Blacks (ABD) Conference and Festival. Takes place Jan 26-29 2012 at Queen Elizabeth Theatre, 190 Prince Boulevard Exhibition Place. With her are Jelani Ade-Law, Co-Founder of  ILL NANA/Diversity Dance Co.with dancer Kum Giles. This is a queer postive multi-racial dance company that embraces differences as strength. Bakari Lindsay, Co-Founding Artistic Director of COBA, talks about their presentation of Les Rythmes de la Foret taking place February 3-5 at Harbourfront Centre's Fleck Dance Theatre, 207 Queens Quay West. This production is a suite of dances and rhythms from the Sub Saharan region  accompanied by traditional drums and chants.  www.cobainc.com
